Our Story

Chef Lex

At Lil Lafayette, we're passionate about bringing the bold and flavorful tastes of Creole cuisine to our customers. Our founder, a native of Lafayette, Louisiana, grew up surrounded by the unique blend of French, Haitian, and Native American flavors that define this style of cooking. After moving to San Marcos and realizing a lack of authentic Creole options, she decided to bring her family recipes to the community.  From gumbo and jambalaya to innovative twists on classic dishes, our team is dedicated to delivering delicious and authentic Creole flavors.
